IUAA Chicago: Alumni Innovating in Food

May 22, 2024 at 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. CDT
mHub, 1623 W Fulton St, Chicago, Illinois, 60612

Join us for an evening where we will be highlighting Chicago-based IU alumni entrepreneurs and leaders!

Chicago is the nation's food innovation and manufacturing capital according to World Business Chicago. The city's proximity to the most productive farmland and an extensive transportation network helped grow the historic industry. Today, the Chicagoland area is home to America's largest food manufacturing workforce and the industry's largest and most innovative corporations.

The IU Alumni Association Chicago Chapter and IU Ventures are partnering to host Hoosiers in Chicago Innovating in Food. This networking event will bring together Indiana University alumni to discuss the future of food on May 22nd from 6-8 PM at mHub (1623 W Fulton St. Chicago, IL). It will feature a panel of alumni founders including Akua Donkor of Kabi Chocolate, Disha Gulati of Here Here Market, and Lenny Lebovich of Pre for a moderated discussion by Ryan Dammeyer, Sr. Managing Director at BridgeBank. The panel will be followed by refreshments and additional networking.

We are grateful to IU Ventures for their partnership in making this event happen!
