IUAA Greater Evansville: No Kid Sleeps On the Floor in Our Town

We need YOUR help to come build and deliver beds to kids around the tristate. The Evansville area IU and Purdue Alumni clubs are pairing up with SLEEP IN HEAVENLY PEACE. We will be building beds to get kids off the floor. We can use any and all help!  

We could use 40 volunteers that morning. We will be working in different stations to build beds. All skill levels are wanted. Some people might be staining or sanding. Some might be putting together the beds. Others might be delivering the beds. Kids and adults are all invited.

The Evansville  Chapter of SHP (as of April 2024) has delivered 1,631 beds to kids locally - a custom-made wooden twin bed, mattress, sheets, pillow, and comforter, all FREE to kids in need! Who: you are needed. The event will take place October 12 from 8-12 PM at the Old Raben Tire Building next to Holy Rosary Catholic Church @ 1167 S. Green River Road in Evansville
