Join our conversation to explore how IU serves as a gateway to the world for Indiana and beyond. With a legacy of international connection and involvement that stretches back more than a century, the university has long inspired learning, curiosity, and collaboration that spans borders. Today, IU is more connected and present around the globe than ever, with activities that support the mission of the university ranging from study abroad to research collaboration to international alumni engagement. After a brief survey of IU’s historical activity, participants will discover the international connections that the university is tirelessly fostering and how that contributes to a bright future for Indiana’s most global university.

About the Instructor:
Roy Hooper works as the director of global engagement for the IU Alumni Association, offering opportunities for IU’s international alumni to engage with and connect to the university. At IU, he studied international studies and Chinese language, later completing his MBA with the Kelley School of Business.
