Dive into the art of digital black-and-white photography! In this beginner/intermediate class, we’ll learn and practice this classic art form through guided instruction, hands-on exercises, and critique sessions over Zoom. As a refresher, we will recap photography basics and view famous BW photos while practicing taking BW shots. Come prepared to share and discuss your photography.

Note: Remember to have your camera on hand (camera phones welcome).

About the Instructor:

Chaz Mottinger is a busy professional photographer. She has photographed locally for Indiana University and the FAR Center for Contemporary Arts, where she also teaches and facilitates photography classes and workshops. She is currently the special projects manager with the City of Bloomington, working on arts and small business initiatives to better connect artists and the community.
