Inside the walls of the workplace, women face biases and systems that can hinder their professional success. Women are often underrepresented in leadership roles, paid less than their male counterparts, and continue to leave the workplace at a higher rate than men. 

This webcast will dive into the complex issues women face in the workplace as well as unique opportunities to support one another professionally.

Instructors: 

Erin Erwin, BA’02, MS’04—affectionately dubbed the “career therapist,” by her clients—is the director of career education for the Walter Center for Career Achievement in the College of Arts and Sciences on the IU Bloomington campus. She provides career transition, career success, and leadership coaching to individuals across all industries and career levels. 

Erica Ballard, BAJ’08, a life and success coach for working women, is the founder of retainHER—a company that helps organizations retain new moms and moms-to-be. Prior to this work, Erica spent 10 years in the public health sector working for and with large nonprofits, health systems, and government agencies.
