The Walter Center for Career Achievement is the career services center for the College of Arts and Sciences. The College, as well as the Walter Center, believe that career development is a fundamental component of an Arts and Sciences education. Our aim is to empower every Arts and Sciences student to turn their diverse talents and passions into successful and rewarding careers.

The Walter Center guides students through the unique liberal arts journey and works with them to discover their interests, leverage their in-demand liberal arts skills, and map out a life and career they'll love. The center creates opportunities for students to successfully engage with employers, industry experts, and alumni.

Words cannot express how thankful I am for the generosity shown to me by the Walter Center, along with the donors who make this possible. The energy that otherwise would have been spent worrying about making ends meet this summer can now be fully focused on my professional growth.
