IUAALA: LACMA Jazz Night Picnic

Join fellow IU alum and friends for a night picnic at LA's iconic LACMA lawn for Jazz Night. This event is more than just jazz and is more of a general fun outdoor social gathering that's considered one of LA's top free social events.

We'll be providing some snacks and guest can bring their own adult beverages and more food. All IU Campus' Alumni, students, friends and family are welcome!

General Info:
-Back 6th Street Entrance: 5978 6th St, Los Angeles, CA 90036 (Near our Area)
-LACMA Main Address: 5905 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90036

-5:30pm: We plan to be set up in our picnic area -6pm-8pm: Jazz Performance
-8:30pm: End of Event

Where to find us: We’ll plan to set up in the center back area next to the 6th St/Ogden entrance. (Same Spot as Last Year) -If entering from the 6th Street/Ogden entrance, just look to your left immediately when you walk in.

-If entering from the main Wilshire Entrance (the famous "Urban Lights" street lights Exhibit), walk straight down the center path to the back fence and look for the 2 sets of palm trees on each side of the path and we'll be around the east set of palm trees to the right. Look for cream/crimson and IU stuff.

Parking:
-Rideshare is strongly encouraged as parking in the lot and street fill up fast
-Metered parking on 6th St. and Wilshire Blvd (Make sure to read all signs for restrictions)
-LACMA Pritzker Parking Garage is on 6th St./Ogden Dr., just east of Fairfax. ($23)
