June 18, 2026 at 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. EDT
Guggman Haus Brewing Company, 1701 Gent Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46202

Hosted by the School of Science and the School of Science Alumni Council.

“The Original Social Network: How Cells Work Together—and How We Might Teach Them to Heal”

Every organ in our body is built from communities of cells that communicate, specialize, and cooperate. The pancreas is an excellent case study in this respect. By understanding how cellular communities form during development, we can unlock new ways to repair organs damaged by diseases like diabetes.
