Bring on IU: Indianapolis 2026

Join IU Alumni Association for an exclusive fireside chat with stand-out alumni Luisa Lopez at Bring On IU: Indianapolis on June 17!

The Bring On IU series reconnects alumni and celebrates our beloved alma mater in major metropolitan areas. Each event features a blend of high-profile IU alumni, faculty, and engaging discussions tailored to the interests and professional needs of the local alumni community.

The program will feature remarks from IU leadership followed by a fireside chat highlighting Luisa Lopez and her dedication to community engagement.  The event will conclude with a closing reception and refreshments!

Cost: $15/person, includes appetizers and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)

About the Feature Guest

Luisa Lopez is the Director of External Engagement at Downtown Indy Alliance, where she builds strategic partnerships and advances a vibrant, inclusive Downtown Indianapolis. Previously, she led community outreach and fan engagement for major global events at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, including the Indy 500. Luisa is known for creating impactful, mission-driven experiences, including a landmark naturalization ceremony welcoming new U.S. citizens during the 2022 Month of May. A proud immigrant from Mexico City, she is deeply committed to civic leadership and serves on multiple nonprofit boards. Her work has earned her numerous local honors for leadership in media, sports, and community engagement; including the Indiana Business Journal's "20 in their Twenties".
