Make a plan, make a lasting impact

Consider all your options
There are several ways you can use your property to support Indiana University. Helping you choose the right giving option for you is important to us. Whether you’re seeking information or you’re ready to start the process, we’re here to help every step of the way.

Why did I bequeath my property and belongings to Indiana University? To support cancer research. To simplify my estate and spare my family from an onerous task. To bring my heart peace and joy.

What you can expect from us
Deciding what to do with your property and belongings can be a difficult and emotional process. Our goal is to make it as stress-free and rewarding as possible. Every aspect of your real estate giving plan will be carefully stewarded by our Real Estate and Personal Property team.
- You’ll consider what matters most in your plans for the future. Is it your time? Your finances? Your legacy?
- An IU development officer and the Real Estate and Personal Property team will work with you to determine if your goals are best achieved through a gift of real estate.
- If a gift of property aligns with your vision, we’ll work together to make a giving plan that’s most beneficial to your current circumstances and future goals.
- You’ll choose how you want your gift to make an impact at Indiana University, whether through scholarships, research, capital projects, academic programs, or a combination of purposes.
