Little 500: Racing for a purpose

Experience the excitement of the Little 500, IU’s iconic student cycling tradition that’s been hailed “The World’s Greatest College Weekend.” Modeled after the Indianapolis 500, the Little 500 is the largest collegiate bike race in the United States.

Students Helping Students: Supporting the IU community

Students Helping Students, the philanthropic core of the IU Student Foundation, inspires a culture of generosity at Indiana University through a spring semester peer-to-peer fundraising campaign. Every year, the campaign supports a student-selected cause benefiting IU Bloomington students.

In 2026, we are proudly raising funds to support students’ basic needs during times of financial hardship—expanding access to essentials like food, housing, health care, and transportation. Join us in this movement to create positive change and build our own legacy of giving at Indiana University.
