Our strength, our future
The LPC is a life-changing giving circle dedicated to fostering learning environments that promote success and a culture of care across all IU campuses. This network equips students, faculty, and staff from various backgrounds for college life and beyond, aiming to set them up for success and help them become next-generation leaders and innovators.
Our priorities
The LPC works to enhance resilience, achievement, and belonging. Our group will prioritize:
- Supporting scholarships and programming that empower the full student body, including IU’s Latino students, to pursue education and feel a sense of belonging at IU.
- Fostering cultural experiences and events that enrich the lives of all students, faculty, and staff—reflecting the multifaceted communities we serve.
- Bringing in speakers, leaders, and ambassadors who can educate, inspire, and engage our campus communities.
With the launch of the Latino Philanthropy Circle, we are creating a platform for donors and alumni to unite and help us provide opportunities that empower individuals to excel academically, professionally, and personally.

Lead our community forward as a founding member
Join the LPC and be part of a group of philanthropic leaders dedicated to celebrating individual journeys and collective success.
As a founding member, you’ll help inform LPC priorities and make recommendations on how the giving circle dollars are disbursed across IU each year. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with people whose lives are directly impacted by your leadership and generosity.
You’ll also be able to collaborate with key IU partners, including:
- IU Latino Alumni Association
- La Casa/Latino Cultural Center
- Regional campus multicultural centers
To take your place as an LPC founding member, make a Founder-level pledge ($15,000 over a three-year member term) to the Latino Philanthropy Circle Initiatives Fund by October 10, 2026. Currently, all gifts to the LPC will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $200,000!
